Interlibrary Services - Request Forms

Interlibrary Services (ILS) allows current faculty, staff and students at the University of Hartford to request a book, dissertation or score; or a photocopy of a book chapter or an article from a periodical. No requests for audio or video materials or for current semester textbooks will be filled. Guest borrowers and alumni should use their local public libraries for their interlibrary loan needs.
Before filling out a request form, check to make sure the item you need is not available through University Libraries. We will not process requests for items we own.

For Books, Dissertations or Scores:
  • Search the Libraries Catalog. If the item is not found, search in WorldCat and place ILS requests within WorldCat by clicking on the ILL button on the full single record screen.
Note: Patrons requesting music materials should contact Allen Library to ensure that they receive the specific item they need.
  • If WorldCat isn't available or if you can't find what you need in WorldCat or in the University catalog, then proceed to Book, Dissertation, Score Request Form.
For Book Chapters:
For Periodical Articles:
Submission of a request constitutes acceptance of
copyright restrictions.
