E-Doc - Document Delivery
E-Doc is a service that allows you to receive interlibrary loan photocopy requests electronically.

How E-Doc Works
  • The ILS department receives your photocopy request in an electronic format, converts it to a PDF, and posts it on a library web server.
  • An email is automatically sent notifying you that a document is available for viewing and providing a link to the E-Doc homepage.
  • You enter your email address and PIN number (randomly assigned by our software and included in the ILS Document Delivery email) in the appropriate boxes and click the ‘Login’ button to access your E-Doc account.
  • Click on any link under ‘Documents’ to open the request and read, save or print it.
Things you should know about E-Doc
  • We can send requests to you using E-Doc only if we receive them from the lending library via the computer. Articles and chapters that are faxed or mailed to us can be picked up by students at the Mortensen Library Circulation Desk and will be sent through Intercampus Mail to faculty and staff.
  • You must have software capable of opening PDF files, like Adobe Reader, installed on your computer to use E-Doc.
  • Documents are permanently deleted from our server after they have been viewed five times or after two weeks have passed from the date we send the ILS Document Delivery email, whichever comes first.
  • E-Doc is our default way to provide photocopies to patrons. If you would prefer not to receive article and chapter requests electronically, you can select ‘Paper’ in the delivery field of the request forms.
