Course Reserves Submission Instructions

About Course Reserves
The Allen Library maintains a Course Reserves collection for Hartt classes and some non-Hartt University courses. Materials include CDs, DVDs, scores, books and videocassettes that are part of our regular collection, as well as materials owned by the instructor of the course (Personal Copies). Digital Course Reserves are accessed using Blackboard.

How to Submit Course Reserves
To submit a request electronically, please download our Reserves Form and email it as an attachment to Sam Cook (860.768.4840). Alternatively, you can print the form and return it to the Allen Library Circulation Desk. The request form is also available at the Circulation Desk. Requests will be processed as quickly as possible in the order in which they are received. Requests should be submitted at least two weeks prior to when items will be needed for class use. Faculty will be asked to pick up personal copies at the end of the semester.

Non-Music and Dance Reserves
Course reserves that are not Allen Library materials should be requested at the Mortensen Library Circulation Department (860.768.4964).

If you have further questions, contact Sam Cook (860.768.4840).
