Curriculum Lab

The Curriculum Lab is housed on the upper level. It was created to serve the students, staff and faculty of the Department of Education and Human Services of the College of Education, Nursing, and Health Professions. It contains:

  • a collection of texts and instructional materials representative of those used in area school systems.
  • various audiovisual materials such as videocassettes, DVDs, and books/audio cd kits.
  • children’s literature.
  • oversized children’s literature (i.e., Big Books).
  • kits and various manipulative sets for various subject areas (science, math, writing, etc.).

The Curriculum Lab also serves as a meeting place for students and faculty as well as houses materials that will assist students and faculty with their student teaching and instruction assignments. The Harrison Libraries works collaboratively with the education faculty to fund and supply materials for the Curriculum Lab.
