The Music Education Resource Library (MERL), maintained by the Music Education Division of The Hartt School, contains general music methods books, instrumental methods books, orchestra and band scores, teacher training texts, dissertations, music appreciation texts, and choral music. The materials in the resource library do not circulate. Please contact Warren Haston for more information.

Hours of operation (during academic semesters):
Monday 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Tuesday 9–10:30 a.m., 4:30–7 p.m.
Wednesday 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m., 6–7:30 p.m.
Thursday 9:30a.m.–12:30 p.m., 6–7p.m.
Friday 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
