Mortensen Library
The Mortensen Library is equipped with six carrels for viewing movies, located on the Main Level of the Library. All six are outfitted with VHS and DVD players. Headsets are available at the Circulation Desk to minimize noise in the library.
Additionally, the same set-up is installed in L-322, on the Upper Level, for small group viewing. Spoken word compact discs can be listened to through the computer lab on the Main Level.
Allen Library
The Allen Library has three rooms equipped with speakers, compact disc players, turntables, cassette desks, and videocassette and DVD players suitable for listening and viewing by small groups. Eight individual listening carrels house additional audio equipment for use with headphones available from the Circulation Desk.
A teaching seminar room fitted with a full complement of listening and viewing equipment is available to faculty for classes and lectures. A group study room is equipped with a videocassette and a DVD player attached to a large monitor.
