Mortensen Library
The Libraries and the University’s Faculty Center for Learning Development share the Woods Family Center for Learning and Instruction, located on the main level of Mortensen. The classroom portion of the Center is intended primarily for library instruction and FCLD training, but may be reserved by faculty for single class sessions where access to the available equipment is desired. Equipment includes:
Smart podium for instructor with PC, VHS, and DVD players
Ceiling mounted projector, controlled from the podium
Document camera with still and video capabilities
Sympodium “interactive pen” display
SynchronEyes computer controller software
“Mimeo board” and white board
OptionFinder “clicker” system
EndNote
Respondus
iMac (1) with O/S 10
Student computers (16) with network connections and MS Office
Additional licensed software may be installed by prior arrangement
